Noriko Narahira
est née à Hiroshima et vit et travaille à Kyoto. Elle
est une diplômée de l’Université des Beaux-Arts
de Kyoto. Ses œuvres suggèrent souvent l'importance
des relations entre les gens, l'espace, et la nature et
se interrogent sur leur signification, tout en
communiquant ses idées sur l'air et la lumière, les éléments
qui remplissent un espace vide. Elle a eu nombreuse expo
en solo au Japon et a participé et reçu des prix à de
nombreuses expositions internationales. I N F I N I est
sa troisième collaboration avec Galerie Yukiko Kawase.
Hiromi Murotani
est née à Kobe où elle vit et travaille toujours.
Ayant obtenu un diplôme de Kawashima Textile School à
Kyoto en 1997, elle a constamment participé aux
nombreuses biennales, compétitions, et a exposé aux
galeries, au japon, en Europe et en Asie. Toujours
fascinée par le monde des micron et nano, sa démarche
consiste à condenser et coudre les tissues, les
assembler et les accumuler ensuite pour créer les forces
et les mouvements. En 2014, elle a reçu le grand prix
(section sculpture) de la compétition des arts de la
préfecture de Hyogo.

Noriko Narahira is a
Japanese artist who lives and works in Kyoto. Her works
often suggest the significance of the relationships
between people, space, and nature and question their
meaning, while communicating her ideas on air and light,
the elements which fill an empty space. She has had a
number of solo shows in Japan and has participated in and
received awards at many international exhibitions. I N F

Hiromi
Murotani was born in Kobe, where she still lives
and works. Having graduated from kawashima Textile School
in Kyoto in 1997, she has consistently participated in
numerous biennials, competitions, and exhibited in the
galleries in Japan, Europe and Asia. Always fascinated by
the world of micro and nano, her approache is to condense
and sew fabrics, assemble them and build up to create the
forces and the movements. In 2014, she received the grand
prix (sculpture section) in the competition of the art in
Hyogo prefecture.
