Don Porcella & Shohei Sawai
Don Porcella (b.1964 USA, lives and works in San Diego, CA) is graduated in 2005 from Hunter College, NY with MFA. Navigating in the space between fine art, craft and art brut, Don uncovers humorously the paradoxical behaviors of human being. He is the world-unique creator of large-scale sculptures using hand-woven pipe cleaners, and his work has been exhibited widely around the world in both gallery and museum shows.
Shohei Sawai (b.1988 Japan, lives and works in Saitama, Japan) is graduated in 2014 from Musashino Art Univ. Tokyo with MFA. Shohei expresses an impression of Japan through various things to see in everyday life in the present when nativeness coexists with globalism. His paintings are nominated last year for 18th Taro Okamoto prize.

En navigant dans l’espace entre l’art, l’artisanat et l’art brut, Don découvre avec humour les comportements paradoxaux de l’être humain. Shohei Sawai (néé en 1988 Japon, vit et travaille à Saitama, Japon) a un diplôme de maîtrise en beaux-arts 2014 de l’université de l’art Musashino, Tokyo. Shohei exprime ses impressions du Japon présent dans les objets du quotidien à observer là ou coexiste ce qui est locale et mondialisé. Ses peintures ont été nommées l’année dernière pour le 18ème prix Taro Okamoto.
